At the outbreak of WW2, the only factory producing rifles in the UK was the BSA Guns Ltd factory at Small Heath, Birmingham. On the 19th November the factory was targeted during a German air-raid. When the sirens sounded workers at the factory refused to run for the safety of air-raid shelters and continued production, vital to the country's war effort. This selfless and brave act tragically cost the lives of 53 BSA workers.
Thursday 19th November 2015 will mark the 75th Anniversary of the sacrifice made by these workers, please watch the video and remember them.
